1. Abstract Guideline

  • Only abstract (maximum 250 words) will be reviewed and accepted. 

  • Submission of abstract should be done via Abstract Submission Form. 

  • Abstract should be prepared according to the submission abstract guideline as shown below. The template is also provided to ease the participants’ preparation of the abstract.

  • Submission deadline of the abstract is on 02 May 2023 (Tuesday).

  • Abstract which is not relevant to the conference will be rejected.

3. Presentation Style

Pre-recorded Video Presentation with Slides Presentation:

 

  • The presentation can be delivered either in English or Malay.

  • Your presentation must be pre-recorded with a duration of 10 minutes or less.

  • The first slide must display the name of the presenter along with a picture.

  • Only 5 slides are allowed during the presentation.

  • The author, or one of the authors, who presents must register as a presenting participant.

  • It will be presented in the conference room according to the field of research

  • The presentation schedule and program book will be made known on the conference website. 

4. Other Information

  • All research papers will be published as Conference Proceedings with an ISBN. 

  • Publication opportunities in various journals will be provided to papers recommended by the review committee. 

  • Best Presenter and Best Paper Awards will be announced during the Closing Ceremony.

  • Paper must be written either in English or Malay.

  • All submissions should be up-to-date, original, and previously unpublished research in any conferences or journals.

  • The bibliography should be at least 12 references, and the sources cited should at least 80% come from those published in the last 5 years

  • The paper should be written in doc.file (Ms.Words) using the available template, and downloaded through Template BorNCe 2023

  • Please be informed that the organizer will only accept the paper with below 30% of similarity index.

  • All presenters are requested to submit the full paper before the due date (Please refer to important dates).

  • Full paper must be submitted online through Submission Full Paper

  • The guideline of the full paper submission through the Template Full Paper in this website.

  • Presentation of research paper is only confirmed when (1) abstract is submitted, (2) full paper is accepted with a letter of acceptance and (3) payment is made with the submission of payment slip via link provided (Payment Form).

5. Review and Acceptance Process

  • Once the full papers are submitted to the conference via link provided, an acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to the participants to inform whether the full papers are accepted for review or rejected. 

 

  • The papers will then be sent to reviewers for evaluation. After the evaluation process, the reviewers’ comments and decision whether the full paper is accepted for presentation will be informed to the delegate via email. 

 

  • An acceptance letter will be issued to the author(s) of the extended abstract that is accepted for presentation at BorNCe’23. 

 

  • Participants with the accepted papers can revise and resubmit the full papers based on the reviewers’ comments by 10 September 2023 (Monday) for publication in the conference proceedings.
